Improved Coatings Siemer Specialty Ingredients has developed a series of natural, Heat Treated (HT) products, such as HT-3000, HT-8500, and HT-9000 that provide consistent batter viscosity, improved texture and bite and increased hold time of the finished product. Modified starches can simply be replaced with the term “wheat flour” on the label.

These wheat based products have gone through a unique heat treatment process that has enhanced their functional characteristics while maintaining all natural components. These enhancements allow the processor to optimize product formulation and a competitive cost position.
